Toshiba Satellite A105-S4074
The Toshiba Satellite A105 is a no-frills media center laptop at a rock-bottom price. Though competing 15.4-inch wide-screen notebooks, such as the Lenovo 3000 N100, the Dell Inspiron E1505, and the Micro Express EL80, all offer either slightly better performance, better battery life, or both, they charge more for it, too. If you're looking for a Media Center experience but don't want to break the bank, you should consider the Satellite A105.
Like most of Toshiba's other Satellites, the A105 is conservatively styled. With a dark gray, black, and silver case, the most colorful bit of this notebook is its obligatory Windows XP sticker. The Satellite A105 measures 14.2 inches wide, 10.5 inches deep and 1.5 inches thick and weighs 6 pounds, putting it right between the thin-and-light and the midsize categories. Though it's virtually the same size as the Lenovo 3000 N100, the Micro Express EL80, and the Dell Inspiron E1505, the Satellite A105 is lighter than all those models. With its AC adapter, the Satellite A105 hits the road at 7.1 pounds.
We think the display should be a star feature of a notebook that ships with Windows XP Media Center Edition, but the Satellite A105's 15.4-inch, glossy, wide-screen display disappoints. It's bright and has excellent color contrast, but with its 1,280x800 native resolution--the same as many 12-inch wide screens--you're carrying a larger, heavier screen without getting any functional real estate advantage. The Satellite A105 can display 17 columns and 36 rows of a spreadsheet and show a word processing document at 150 percent with no need for horizontal scrolling, which is exactly the same as the Fujitsu LifeBook Q2010, one of the smallest ultraportables we've seen. Acer Aspire 5652WLMi laptop
Sometimes, being the first to market with an idea can be daunting, users will like the notion but not the implementation. In the case of the Aspire 5652WLMi, Acer hasn’t made a great leap forward in technology, simply in execution. If it had been a little lighter we’d have made it a Hot Product but as it stands: it’s a great machine that runs well and the addition of 3G is a clincher, especially at the asking price. more |

Sony Ericsson W600i "Walkman" Phone
Sony Ericsson's Walkman W600i phone seamlessly merges two of the most often carried devices into one stylish pocket sized unit. The Walkman portion features 256 MB of memory for music, pictures, and videos. The W600i has an FM radio tuner when used with the headphone cord and a 1.3 megapixel camera with flash that takes photos and videos. With Bluetooth, IrDA, and WAP you can send and receive just about anything to other devices on the go. The w600i is available from Cingular in the US.
Design and Ergonomics
At first glance, the W600i has buttons, switches, and speakers everywhere. This made for interesting button hunts while trying to accomplish mundane tasks. You will also notice that in an age of cell phones getting smaller and smaller, this one is a tad bigger than the rest, though by no means large. Given the features it packs inside, it's quite modest. The W600i's circular slider design, like that of the Sony Ericsson S710, and its bright orange color are the Walkman's claims to stylistic fame. The swivel joint is located at the bottom. It makes things confusing at times because in order to keep the screen and buttons properly oriented, you need to turn the phone upside down then open it. But, you do not need to open the phone in order to receive a call or to redial the last number called.The number buttons are a little recessed and widely spaced which makes dialing awkward but the five way direction pad is comfortable and very easy to use. The keys are backlit in light orange which matches the phone's look and makes it easy to dial in the dark.
Be sure to use the button lock (a tiny slider switch on the side) before pocketing this phone. The buttons are easily activated and it has a tendency to call folks or browse the web when it should be sleeping happily in your pocket or purse. Anda juga boleh mgambil gambar sehingga 325 gambar dengan sekali mengecas bateri. Kamera digital Casio Exilim EX-Z750 ini boleh disambungkan ke mana-mana PictBridge untuk mencetak gambar tanpa menggunakan komputer.
Sudah terdapat 3 jenis kad memori iaitu kad memori yang asal, kad memori Stick Pro dan kad memori Stick Duo. Tapi bagi Sony ia masih tak memadai . Dengan itu Sony akan memperkenalkan kad memori Stick Mikro diantara bulan Mac dan Julai 2006. |
